{"id":364089,"date":"2022-03-14T06:05:48","date_gmt":"2022-03-13T20:05:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=364089"},"modified":"2022-03-14T06:05:48","modified_gmt":"2022-03-13T20:05:48","slug":"95-new-cases-4-hospitalized","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/95-new-cases-4-hospitalized\/","title":{"rendered":"95 new cases; 4 hospitalized"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A combined 95 new COVID-19 cases representing two reporting periods were reported Thursday and Friday last week, while the number of individuals hospitalized\u00a0as a result of\u00a0COVID-19 have declined to four, based on the latest news releases from the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, CHCC reported 53 individuals who were confirmed positive for COVID-19, bringing the CNMI total to 10,379\u00a0cases since March 26, 2020.\u00a0These 53\u00a0cases were identified on March 10, 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The day before, CHCC reported 42 who were confirmed positive for COVID-19, all of them identified on March 9, 2022. Of that number, five were identified on Tinian.<\/p>\n<p>The vaccination statuses of the 95 new\u00a0cases are still pending verification.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Of the 10,379\u00a0total cases that have been identified in the CNMI, there have been 10,094\u00a0recoveries; 255 active cases; and 30 COVID-19-related deaths. A total of 9,661 were identified via community testing and 718 via travel testing.<\/p>\n<p>On the vaccination front, a total of 94 COVID-19 vaccine shots were administered on March 11, 2022; of the eligible population,\u00a057.8%\u00a0have received an additional dose.
