Pacifica Insurance has announced that it is offering a $5,000 hole-in-one prize that will be featured at the upcoming annual NMC Foundation Golf Tournament on Saturday, March 19, 2022. (NMC)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In its ongoing efforts to further higher education in the Marianas, Pacifica Insurance 17th Annual Northern Marianas College Foundation Open is offering a $5,000 hole-in-one prize for the upcoming 17th Annual Northern Marianas College Foundation Open golf tournament currently scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2022. The first lucky golfer who makes a hole-in-one at the LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort\u2019s hole four on the East Course will win the $5,000 prize. <\/p>\n

\u201cDiversification of programs, a state-of-the-art campus underway, awesome recovery efforts from our most recent disasters, resilience amidst a global pandemic, and now a historic reaffirmation of its full accreditation for another eight years \u2013 this is why we continue to support NMC and its Foundation. They consistently over deliver and exceed expectations,\u201d Pacifica Insurance president Shirley Sablan said. \u201cTaking part in this tournament is taking part in the advancement of our future generation. We thank the PROA family for always including us in their journey.\u201d <\/p>\n

The 2022 NMC Golf Open will be the first major golf tournament of the year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe hole-in-one prize offered by Pacifica Insurance helps to fuel the excitement for the event,\u201d NMC president Galvin Deleon Guerrero, EdD said. \u201cNMC thanks Pacifica Insurance for their continued support.\u201d<\/p>\n

NMC\u2019s Golf Open will be held on the east course of the Saipan LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort. Showtime is at 6am, and the shotgun start will be at 7am. The tournament will follow a medal play format.<\/p>\n

First place winners in the men\u2019s Championship, A, B, C, Senior, and Ladies Flights (low gross and low net) will each receive $500, while $300 and $200 will go to the second and third place finishers, respectively. Hole-in-one prizes also include a brand new 2022 Civic Sport Hatchback from Joeten Motors, a brand new 2022 Hyundai Kona N-Line from Triple J Motors, a brand new 2022 Toyota Camry from Atkins Kroll Saipan, and $5,000 from McDonald\u2019s. <\/p>\n

The tournament will also feature many other items such as raffle prizes like smartphones, meals, and much more. <\/p>\n

Registration for this year\u2019s tournament is closed as the maximum number of players has been reached. Those who have not registered to play but would like to be placed on a player wait list can contact 237-6780.<\/p>\n

The college is asking companies, organizations, or individuals who are interested in sponsoring holes and\/or for any in-kind or cash donation to help support the CNMI\u2019s post-secondary institution.
