{"id":364348,"date":"2022-03-17T06:03:58","date_gmt":"2022-03-16T20:03:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=364348"},"modified":"2022-03-17T06:03:58","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T20:03:58","slug":"63-new-cases-5-hospitalized","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/63-new-cases-5-hospitalized\/","title":{"rendered":"63 new cases; 5 hospitalized"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sixty-three additional individuals have been confirmed positive for COVID-19, bringing the CNMI total to 10,535\u00a0cases since March 28, 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Of the 63\u00a0cases identified on March 14, 2022, four were identified\u00a0on Tinian. The vaccination statuses of the 63\u00a0cases are pending verification.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As of\u00a0March 15, 2022, there\u00a0were five\u00a0individuals hospitalized\u00a0as a result of\u00a0COVID-19. Three are unvaccinated, while two are fully vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>Of the 10,535\u00a0total cases that have been identified in the CNMI so far, there have been 10,290\u00a0recoveries; 214 active cases; and 31 COVID-19-related deaths\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 9,801 were identified via community testing and 734 via travel testing.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 24\u00a0COVID-19 vaccine shots were administered on March 15, 2022; of the eligible population,\u00a058.4%\u00a0have already received an additional dose.
