Saipan Computer Services recently donated $5,000 in cash and golf gear to the Northern Marianas College, in support of NMC\u2019s upcoming golf open on March 19, 2022 at the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort. As part of its commitment to higher education in the CNMI, Saipan Computer Services recently donated $3,000 in cash and $2,000 worth of golf gear to the Northern Marianas College.<\/p>\n

Their donation was made in support of the NMC Foundation\u2019s upcoming golf open on March 19, 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe college plays an important role in shaping young men and women to be outstanding contributors to our community and our local workforce,\u201d Saipan Computer Services general manager Jerry Tiu said. \u201cWe are proud to support NMC and the NMC Foundation once again with its golf tournament.\u201d<\/p>\n

NMC\u2019s Golf Open will be held on the east course of the Saipan LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort. Showtime is at 6am, and the shotgun start will be at 7am. The tournament will follow a medal play format.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSaipan Computer Services has been a longtime supporter of the Northern Marianas College,\u201d NMC president Galvin Deleon Guerrero, EdD, said. \u201cWe are extremely thankful for the company\u2019s unwavering commitment to the college and to elevating higher education opportunities in the CNMI.\u201d<\/p>\n

First place winners in the men\u2019s Championship, A, B, C, Senior, and Ladies Flights (low gross and low net) in the golf tournament will each receive $500, while $300 and $200 will go to the second and third place finishers, respectively. Hole-in-one prizes also include a brand new 2022 Civic Sport Hatchback from Joeten Motors, a brand new 2022 Hyundai Kona N-Line from Triple J Motors, a brand new 2022 Toyota Camry from Atkins Kroll Saipan, $5,000 from McDonald\u2019s, and $5,000 from Pacifica Insurance.<\/p>\n

The tournament will also feature many other items such as raffle prizes like smartphones, hotel stays, meals, and much \u00e6
\nmore.<\/p>\n

Registration for this year\u2019s tournament is closed as the maximum number of players has been reached. Those who have not registered to play but would like to be placed on a player wait list can contact 237-6780.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The college is asking companies, organizations, or individuals who are interested in sponsoring holes and\/or for any in-kind or cash donation to help support the CNMI\u2019s post secondary institution.
