{"id":364994,"date":"2022-03-25T06:01:14","date_gmt":"2022-03-24T20:01:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=364994"},"modified":"2022-03-25T06:01:14","modified_gmt":"2022-03-24T20:01:14","slug":"34-new-cases-7-hospitalized","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/34-new-cases-7-hospitalized\/","title":{"rendered":"34 new cases; 7 hospitalized"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thirty-four additional individuals have been confirmed positive for COVID-19, bringing the CNMI total to 10,985 cases since March 28, 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Of the 34\u00a0cases identified on March 22, 2022, two were identified on Tinian and six on Rota. The vaccination statuses of the 34\u00a0cases are pending verification.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As of March 23, 2022, there\u00a0were seven individuals hospitalized as a result of\u00a0COVID-19.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Of the 10,985 total cases that have been identified in the CNMI, there have already been 10,811 recoveries; 143 active cases; and 31 COVID-19-related deaths. Of the total, 10,205 were identified via community testing and 780 via travel testing.<\/p>\n<p>CHCC said in a news release Wednesday night that some duplicates were deleted and that Rota recorded 196 cases from March 2 to March 22, 2022. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoving forward, COVID-19 updates will be reported weekly,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 25\u00a0COVID-19 vaccine shots were administered on March 22, 2022; of the eligible population, 59.4% have already received an additional dose.
