Pogi Problems dropped to a 1-2 slate.

J.R. Barrios and Angelo Fernando partnered in the Bandits’ early attack, as they scored 6 points each in the first period, lifting their team to a 22-10 advantage. Fernando was still at it in the second canto, escaping with fastbreak layups and adding 8 more markers, as the Bandits kept the twin-digit margin at the break, 42-30.

Fernando and company then had their biggest lead at 20, 65-45, late in the third period, giving the team the luxury to be a bit complacent in the fourth quarter and allowing Pogi Problems to cut the deficit to a decent number.

Fernando led the Bandits with his 18 points, while Myler David paced Pogi Problems with his 15 markers.

In the first game, Gwap Gang reached the century mark en route to whipping Hite, 100-58.

Gwap Gang improved to a 2-0 record, while Hite remained winless after two games.

Seven Gwap Gang players scored in double figures in their lopsided win. Gwap Gang set up the route after working out a 22-11 advantage at the end of the first period. The lead ballooned to 17 by halftime, 42-30, as Gwap Gang continued to spread the wealth.

Gwap Gang then made it a 20-plus margin in the third, as Hite clearly failed to match the former’s firepower. Despite the big lead, Gwap Gang showed no mercy, saving its best for last with a 37-point production in the fourth to almost double up Hite with its 42-point winning margin.

First Game
Gwap Gang 100 – Sacramento 20, Rabasto 12, Yap 11, Darag 11, Ano 11, Vertudez 10, Dela Rosa 10, Ito 5, Deleon Guerrero 4.
Hite 58 – Manglona 17, Lauron 15, E.
