Saipan Community Church will be offering Easter services starting tonight at its chapel along Beach Road in Susupe.<\/p>\n
Dubbed \u201cHe Has Risen Easter Services,\u201d it starts with a Good Friday Service tonight beginning at 7pm. <\/p>\n
It continues bright and early on Sunday with SCC\u2019s Easter Sunrise Service starting at 6am and will be followed by a breakfast and brunch fellowship. <\/p>\n
The Easter Sunday Regular Service promptly follows at 10am and it will immediately be followed by baptism and SCC\u2019s absolutely free \u201cEGG-cellent Resurrection Adventure.\u201d The egg hunt is open to children from pre-K to fifth grade and participants should bring their own baskets. Prizes will be awarded to the participants with the most eggs in his or her basket. <\/p>\n
SCC pastor Stephen Dame is inviting everyone to take part in the church\u2019s Easter service offerings starting tonight. <\/p>\n
\u201cI love Easter\/Resurrection Sunday. It is my favorite day of the year. I love to see the church full of people experiencing the hope that Easter brings. Hope that our flaws don\u2019t have to be fatal and our failures aren\u2019t not final and that there is more to life than just what we experience here. We have a life beyond this life to look forward too.\u201d Dame said Easter Sunrise Service is very close to his heart as it reminds him of Jesus Christ\u2019s ultimate sacrifice and His rising from the dead. <\/p>\n
\u201cThis service reminds us that the women found the tomb of Jesus empty. This service will be followed by a big breakfast. We have a 10am service where we celebrate the hope that we can have because the tomb was empty. A baptismal service will follow that and then we will have an \u2018Egg-cellelant Resurrection Adventure\u2019 for those children up through fifth grade. There will be prize eggs and plenty of candy filled eggs to go around. Participants must attend the 10am service. We look forward to sharing with our community this exciting weekend!\u201d he added. <\/p>\n
