(MICHAELA PANGANIBAN)<br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Kanoa Football Club\u2019s girls U16 squad remains the only unbeaten team in the TakeCare NMIFA Youth Spring League 2022 following its 5-3 triumph over closest rival Southern United FC last Saturday at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.<\/p>\n<p>Kaithlyn Chavez scored a hat-trick for Kanoa, while Mia Abuan added a pair to give their squad an unblemished 6-0-0 win-draw-loss record in the five-team girls U16 division. Kanoa is looking at winning its last two games in the double-round robin play for a perfect regular season.<\/p>\n<p>Tamia Hix, Megan Elayda, and Summer Manahane hit the board for Southern United, which missed in its attempt to join Kanoa on top of the division after falling to a 4-0-2 mark.<\/p>\n<p>In other results, Paire FC and Shirley\u2019s FC had a draw.<\/p>\n<p>Teneasha Diaz made the equalizer for Paire in the 50th minute, while Ayana Hayes nailed the other goal for the team. Shirley\u2019s, on the other hand, got its twin goals from Stacy Arriola and Jackielyn Calage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BOYS U16 DIVISION<br \/>\nTanHoldings 8, Matansa 1<\/strong><br \/>\nTanHoldings kept its hold to the top spot in the division after routing Matansa.<\/p>\n<p>Anthony John Bergancia anchored TanHoldings\u2019 easy win after firing five goals.<\/p>\n<p>Minul Hoque contributed two goals, while Morico Claridades chipped in one for TanHoldings, which now has a 6-0-1 slate, one win ahead of MP United (5-1-1) and Kanoa (5-1-1).<\/p>\n<p>Matansa absorbed its fifth loss, as only Jerome Mettao scored for the team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kanoa 15, Shirley\u2019s 2<\/strong><br \/>\nKanoa stayed close to TanHoldings following a lopsided victory over Shirley\u2019s.<br \/>\nMarkus Toves crushed Shirley\u2019s, as he delivered seven goals in the match, while Leland Deleon Guerrero tallied four. Shirley\u2019s two goals were courtesy of Benneton Haro and Branson Jay  Santos.<\/p>\n<p>In other results in the division, MP United was handed a win via forfeiture against Paire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GIRLS U13 DIVISION<br \/>\nSouthern 4, Matansa 1<\/strong><br \/>\nSouthern United FC notched victory No. 6 after topping Matansa.<br \/>\nRosie Saralu lifted Southern United to the win with her hat-trick, while Briannie Echalico posted the other goal for the leading team. Alyssa Borlongan recorded the lone goal for Matansa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MP United 3,<br \/>\nKanoa-2 2<\/strong><br \/>\nAllie Brasuell powered MP United past Kanoa-2 in a close match.<br \/>\nBrasuell nailed the go-ahead goal in the 23rd minute to complete her hat trick, while Roxlyn Ferrer made both goals for Kanoa-2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kanoa-1 4, Paire 2<\/strong><br \/>\nIn another tight game, Kanoa-1 edged Paire.<br \/>\nElikristiana Iglecias scored two goals for Kanoa-1, including the game-winner in the second half. Yellynn Ha also had twin goals for Kanoa-1, while Betrice Gross registered all three goals for Paire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TanHoldings-1 2, TanHoldings-2 2<\/strong><br \/>\nTanHoldings teams settled for a draw in their last weekend\u2019s duel.<br \/>\nXyriel Pascual knocked in the game-tying goal for TanHoldings-1, which got its other goal from  Shaina Malonzo.
