{"id":368327,"date":"2022-05-13T06:00:35","date_gmt":"2022-05-12T20:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=368327"},"modified":"2022-05-13T06:00:35","modified_gmt":"2022-05-12T20:00:35","slug":"child-care-providers-participate-in-health-and-safety-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/child-care-providers-participate-in-health-and-safety-training\/","title":{"rendered":"Child care providers participate in health and safety training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eight participants from three childcare centers on Saipan welcomed the month of May with another set of health and safety training sessions last May 7 at the Evergreen Learning training center in Chalan Kanoa.<\/p>\n<p>Conducted by Evergreen Learning quality care specialist Maricar I. Pena, the two training sessions\u2014each one lasting two hours\u2014were on precaution in transporting children and building and physical premises safety.<\/p>\n<p>During the morning session,\u00a0participants discussed the rationale for learning about safe transportation of children,\u00a0identified hazards in and around vehicles, and\u00a0determined\u00a0ways to protect children from risk and injury from those hazards.
