(ANGEL LI)<br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A crowd of over 2,000 people descended on Garapan Fishing Base Friday night for the Indigo Music Festival that featured the music of Maui-based reggae band Maoli, as well as Guam\u2019s One Rhythm and Steppahs.<\/p>\n<p>Brought to the CNMI by the Roil Soil Marketing, it was billed as the largest music festival that has been hosted on Saipan since the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020.<br \/>\nAccording to Roil Soil Clothing owner, Shayne Villanueva, they already pre-sold 2,000 tickets and more people were buying them at the door.<\/p>\n<p>He said this was his fourth or fifth time hosting a concert like this in the CNMI, with the last one held in 2019 before the pandemic, with groups such as Jordan T, Bo Napoleon, Samu, Leahmusicx &amp; Shannon, and 4for4. He said he tries to host a festival every year and hopefully will feature another one in the next few months.
