Minus and Plus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The pedigree of certain high-ranking politicians<br \/>\ndoes not concern SOME of their supporters<br \/>\noffice workers, laborers, electrical technicians<br \/>\nevery day sycophants and gossip reporters<br \/>\nfilling in ballots\u00a0they think of only one thing<br \/>\nwill the winners give them a new and better job<br \/>\nwill their horse remember them with more bling<br \/>\nwill they remain an overweight bloated mob.<\/p>\n<p>SOME voters want leaders to do the right thing<br \/>\nthey are not very concerned with a pedigree<br \/>\nthey work hard for their\u00a0family not for bling<br \/>\nthey ignore nepotism and partisan enmity<br \/>\nthey vote with conscience and save face<br \/>\nthey make the U.S. and CNMI a better place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recusal? Abusal? A Brief Perusal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It seems everyday when I read the news<br \/>\nsomeone else has said they will recuse<br \/>\nabout that there are many different views<br \/>\nso I thought I\u2019d give it a brief peruse<\/p>\n<p>Recusal reports add up more and more<br \/>\nconstantly more step aside and departed<br \/>\nand say my relative or I once worked for&#8230;<br \/>\ndon\u2019t remember how long or when I started<\/p>\n<p>Recused perhaps just about anyone<br \/>\nwho knew or saw or even thought<br \/>\nthat an unjust trial was being run<br \/>\nwhat type of lessons were being taught<\/p>\n<p>Poets shed light in their own poetic way<br \/>\non both sides at times of current opinion<br \/>\nwith caustic and reasoned words in play<br \/>\nnonpartisan poetic license has dominion<\/p>\n<p>Well that\u2019s about it for me I too will recuse<br \/>\nmay the most honest candidates team win<br \/>\nby conscientious voting you pick and choose.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joey &#8216;Pepe Batbon&#8217; Connolly (Special to the Saipan Tribune)<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Joey aka Pepe Batbon is a retired educator who taught in the CNMI, NOLA, and LVNV.
