(PONTRIBUTED PHOTO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Corry Pangelinan continued his hot streak in the Intermediate Class after winning the division anew in the 2022 Monster Energy Point Series Race last Sunday at the Cowtown Race Track.<\/p>\n<p>The 17-year-old Marianas High School student was again perfection in winning the division of Marianas Racing Association\u2019s May race after topping both heats with 50 points.<\/p>\n<p>Tristan Sablan came in second with 40 points, while Melvin Cepeda was third with 38 points.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wished nothing but the best for all racers! Everyone out on the track did amazing and so did my team! Also I was trying my best not to crash,\u201d said Pangelinan when asked about his thoughts on Sunday\u2019s race.<\/p>\n<p>He also commended MRA for maintaining the track that resulted in improved racing conditions for the May competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrack and race conditions were better than before because MRA had watered the track before and in between races so it wasn\u2019t that dusty it made the races more enjoyable to watch. The weather was great as it was sunny all day but it was a little hot,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Pangelinan also thanked Team ERICCO, Pokka, YCO True Value, Marianas Natives, Herman\u2019s Bakery and Joeten Motors for serving as his sponsors throughout the MRA season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I\u2019d like to thank my family and friends for their constant support,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>In the Big Boy ATV Class, Christian \u201cHollywood\u201d Camacho was blockbuster again by topping the division for the nth time with 50 points. Rex Susulin and Henry Camacho Sr. came in second and third with 42 points apiece. The former, however, edged the latter after nosing him out in the second heat.<\/p>\n<p>Kassidy Camacho took the pole position in the Mini ATV Class with 47 points, followed by Theresa Borja who also had 47 points but came second in Heat No. 2.
