{"id":371226,"date":"2022-06-27T06:00:32","date_gmt":"2022-06-26T20:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=371226"},"modified":"2022-06-27T06:00:32","modified_gmt":"2022-06-26T20:00:32","slug":"community-briefs-june-27-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/community-briefs-june-27-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"COMMUNITY BRIEFS &#8211; June 27, 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Triple J Saipan not participating in appliance rebate program<\/strong><br \/>\nThe CNMI Energy Division Office would like to inform all recipients of the appliance rebate voucher program that, due to unforeseen situations preventing full participation by Triple J as a participating retailer\/vendor, effective immediately, Triple J Saipan Store will no longer be accepting rebate vouchers on Saipan under the CNMI Energizing Insular Communities Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program until further notice.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Triple J Store on Tinian remains a participating\u00a0retailer\/vendor and will continue to accept rebate vouchers.<\/p>\n<p>For additional program information or questions, contact the Division of Energy Office at 664-4480\/1. <strong>(PR)<\/strong><br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>SHEFA application period now open<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Saipan Higher Education Financial Assistance program is now accepting applications for fall 2022. Please visit SHEFA\u2019s new website at www.saipanshefa.com to create your own student account-apply, submit supporting documents and receive status updates. The deadline now is Sept. 1, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>You must upload all your supporting documents with the application in order for your submission to go through.
