AlumKnight Jaqueline P. Che has been selected as this year\u2019s keynote speaker in the upcoming commencement rites at Mount Carmel School.<\/p>\n

Che, now the Northern Marianas College director for Institutional Effectiveness, will address the graduating class tomorrow night at Mount Carmel Cathedral.<\/p>\n

Jaqueline P. Che<\/figcaption><\/figure>The graduating seniors nominated Che to be their commencement speaker, to which school president Galvin Deleon Guerrero immediately agreed. <\/p>\n

\u201cMs. Che has done so much for her alma mater, the education community, and the community as a whole. It will be an honor for her to address our graduates,\u201d Deleon Guerrero said.<\/p>\n

Che graduated from MCS in 2005 where she was bestowed the Governor\u2019s Leadership Award. She earned her bachelor\u2019s degree in History and Anthropology from the University of San Diego, where she was admitted into the university\u2019s graduate school for Higher Education Leadership, one of the most selective schools of its kind in the nation. <\/p>\n

She earned her master\u2019s degree in Assessment, Student Affairs, and Higher Education Policy in 2011 and returned to the CNMI to serve as the Scholarship Office administrator before moving to her current post at NMC.<\/p>\n

She is currently pursuing a certification through the American Grant Writer\u2019s Association and was recently admitted into the Western Association of School and Colleges Assessment Leadership Academy.<\/p>\n

Both Che\u2019s brother and sister are also AlumKnights. Her brother, Jeffrey Che, graduated in 2008 and her sister, Jasmine Che, is set to graduate Saturday night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
