Ngewak, BASA president Leo Bobai, BASA vice president McQueen Masaharu, BASA board vice chair Gianvianni Tutiy, and Marpac resident manager Guy Pudney.(CONTRIBUTED PHOTO)<br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Heading into their 2022 season, Belau Amateur Softball Association has secured title sponsorship rights through Budweiser.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The newly monikered \u201cBudweiser BASA Softball League\u201d kicked off the season last July 10.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the Budweiser BASA Softball League consists of 16 teams of six open female teams and 10 men\u2019s master\u2019s teams. Games are played every Sunday at the Dandan Softball Field.<\/p>\n<p>BASA president Leo Bobai welcomes this new partnership, \u201cThe league is financially heavy on our small non-profit organization, but thanks to Budweiser\u2019s eagerness to promote sports in the community, we can continue to work together to ensure this season runs smoothly, safely and fun for everyone. I have a great team of officers, board members and community members and we are very grateful and humbled for this sponsorship.
