Sablan (D-MP) disclosed in his e-kilili newsletter over the weekend that USCIS announced this week that it will consider any response received within 60 calendar days after the due date, if the request or notice was issued between March 1, 2020, and Oct. 23, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to requests for evidence, Sablan said the following requests or notices qualify for the grace period:<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tContinuations to request evidence (N-14);<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tNotices of intent to deny;<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tNotices of intent to revoke;<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tNotices of intent to rescind;<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tNotices of intent to terminate regional centers;<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tNotices of intent of withdraw temporary protected status;<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tMotions to reopen an N-400 Pursuant to 8 CFR 335.5, Receipt of derogatory information after grant.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, USCIS will consider a Form I-290B, notice of appeal or motion, or a Form N-336, request for a hearing on a decision in naturalization proceedings (Under Section 336 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), if: <\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tThe form was filed up to 90 calendar days from the issuance of an agency decision; and<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022\tThe decision was made between Nov. 1, 2021, and Oct. 23, 2022, inclusive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is extending certain COVID-19-related flexibilities through Oct. 23, 2022, including&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":23,"featured_media":373347,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[119],"class_list":["post-373346","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-local-news","tag-uscis"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/373346","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/23"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=373346"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/373346\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/373347"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=373346"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=373346"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=373346"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
