It will be how you feel after experiencing the resort’s enhanced service offerings, including an elevated guest-centered approach to hospitality and the tools used to get there.
Now in its transition to the next phase of resort enhancements, the Nikko team continues to invest in staff training to create a more guest-focused environment and improve specific areas of the property.

New website and mobile app
As part of its brand refresh, Nikko has revamped its website (nikkoguam.com) to be more informative and convenient for travelers to make online bookings, as well as learn about activities and experiences. Nikko’s new mobile app provides online tools that give guests more control over their experiences while on the property, such as allowing Digital Check-in before arrival at the Nikko; using the app as a digital room key for each guest; receiving real-time messages from the resort, and managing dining and activities reservations.

Hotel Nikko Guam, a Premier Hotel Group property and a member of Ken Corp., has been providing upscale accommodations in Guam for more than 30 years. The resort began its brand refresh in April 2022 in anticipation of the resurgence of tourism.

Throughout the month of August and to the end of the year, the Nikko will be adding the following enhancements:

• The Welcome Experience
The Nikko created new arrival and departure protocols so that visitors can begin their vacation as soon as they are picked up at the airport. Guests will also receive more attentive service upon arrival at the resort. To expedite the check-in process, guests can check in through the app before they arrive and get fast-tracked to their rooms using their unique digital keys on the app.

• In-room enhancements and sustainable practices
The Nikko is upgrading its in-room standard bath amenity to the L’Occitane brand in Ocean Front and Deluxe Category Rooms. The bottles will also be larger and refillable, making them more environmentally-friendly. The Premier Rooms and Suites offer the high-end European brand, Atkinson, as the new bath amenity. In addition to implementing more green practices, each room will have reusable Huskee tumblers, sustainably made from coffee husks, a by-product of coffee production. Guests are welcome to take the tumblers home to continue reusing them.

• Beverage menu enhancements
Nikko spent the last two years improving all aspects of its food quality and service. This year, the resort is matching its food offerings with enhanced beverage menus that will harmonize the dining experience.

• Activities in nature
The Nikko is embracing Guam’s unique sense of place and aims to inspire its guests to become more in touch with Guam’s culture and the natural surroundings of the property. Nikko aims to create a warm and welcoming environment where guests can come home to themselves.

Nikko will also offer more activities to fully enhance its guests’ escape in nature. A complimentary yoga program is planned to take place in the natural elements with a direct view of the ocean.

• Effortless Eden
The resort’s approach to hospitality, called Effortless Eden, focuses on providing a relaxing atmosphere—in rooms and nature—where guests can escape to. The hotel launched its newest brand video in the Effortless Eden series, called Escape, which shows guests how to unplug from their lives and find rest and adventures at the Nikko and in Guam.
