Camacho last Friday for a bail hearing. He is being charged with trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. <\/p>\n<p>Zhang, also known as \u201cDriver\u201d, was arrested by the Department of Public Safety-Criminal Investigation Division and Drug Enforcement Task Force following a \u201cbuy-walk\u201d operation last June.<\/p>\n<p>Camacho imposed a $100,000 cash bail on the defendant and remanded Zhang to the custody of the Department of Corrections after the hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Zhang was ordered to return to court for a preliminary hearing on Aug. 12 at 10am and for an arraignment on Aug. 15 at 9am.<\/p>\n<p>At the hearing, Zhang was represented by the court-appointed assistant public defender, Tyler Scott, while assistant attorney general Frances T. Demapan appeared for the government. Xuiming Callaghan served as Zhang\u2019s interpreter.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press release from the Department of Public Safety, Zhang sold 1.3 grams of methamphetamine, or \u201cice\u201d to a DETF informer.
