{"id":374745,"date":"2022-08-24T06:06:16","date_gmt":"2022-08-23T20:06:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=374745"},"modified":"2022-08-24T06:06:16","modified_gmt":"2022-08-23T20:06:16","slug":"church-cleans-up-seaside-stretch-beside-beach-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/church-cleans-up-seaside-stretch-beside-beach-road\/","title":{"rendered":"Church cleans up seaside stretch beside Beach Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_374746\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-374746\" style=\"width: 960px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Church-pix.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-374746\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Church-pix-1024x531.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"498\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-374746\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Members of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ in the 4th Watch conducted a cleanup over the weekend as a way to give back to the community, spread awareness of the church\u2019s mission, and as a form of celebration.\u00a0(CONTRIBUTED PHOTO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A local Christian church did a beach cleanup over the past weekend, stretching all the way from the beach area across the Atkins Kroll Toyota dealership, to the beach area across the National Office Supply.<\/p>\n<p>A group of over 20 individuals from the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ in the 4th Watch conducted the beach cleanup early last Saturday morning as a way to give back to the community, spread awareness of the church\u2019s mission, and as a form of celebration.<\/p>\n<p>The cleanup resulted in over 10 bags of trash and debris that were picked up from Beach Road and properly disposed of.<\/p>\n<p>According to members of the church, the cleanup was mostly a community outreach project intended to spread awareness of the church\u2019s mission. Also, it was a means to give back by doing something good for the community by contributing to the beautification of the island\u2019s pristine beaches.<\/p>\n<p>The PMCC 4th watch is also currently celebrating 4th Watcher\u2019s month, an occasion that they are celebrating in tandem with over 100 other local PMCC churches across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>Last Saturday\u2019s cleanup is only one of the many programs the church has conducted throughout the month of August.<\/p>\n<p>The church has also been venturing out to different villages on the island to conduct their house-to-house evangelism.
