Camacho and Koblerville elementary schools.<\/p>\n<p>The first ceremony was held at GTC Elementary School in San Roque last May 22. <\/p>\n<p>According to CNMI Motheread\/Fatheread assistant coordinator Beth Demapan, GTC parent Hilma Castro was awarded her \u201cStory Exploring Certification\u201d by Motheread coordinator Viola Deleon Guerrero.<\/p>\n<p>GTC parent trainer Bryan Manabat, Demapan, and GTC prinvipal Raena Bermudes congratulated Castro and Shirley Lizama, who is also a parent from GTC.<br \/>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-37552 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon '>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/mothereadfatheread-completes-sessions-saipan\/motheread-pix1\/'>Motheread pix1<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-37558'>\n\t\t\t\tGregorio T. (Contributed Photo)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<br \/>\n\u201cStory exploring certificates were awarded to Gunnar Castro and Rosemary Lizama, while Viveka Castro received a certificate of volunteerism,\u201d Demapan said.<\/p>\n<p>The other ceremony was held on Memorial Day on May 26 at the Koblerville Elementary School.<\/p>\n<p>According to Demapan 12 parents, 24 children, and six AmeriCorps volunteers were honored. <\/p>\n<p>Story exploring instructor Lois Dewitt and her story exploring class of 24 children performed a lively skit from the timeless children\u2019s classic Goldilocks and the Three Bears.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot to be outshown, parent trainer Mercedes Q. Deleon Guerrero assisted parents as they performed a skit from yet another children\u2019s book classic, The Three Bill Goat\u2019s Gruff,\u201d Demapan said.<\/p>\n<p>Parents who took the adult course were Mary Jane Fleming, Rosie Mu\u00f1a, Angelica Aldan-Hernandez, Grace Jo, Priseila Dulay, Vera Tudela, Ostina Emangmai, Remedios Peralta, Elizabeth Ramos, Jessica Pangelinan, Gita Kundu and Sang Won Lim.<\/p>\n<p>Students who took the story-exploring course were Nathan Mu\u00f1a, Damien Santos, Scarlet Santos, Patrick Santos, Thomas Santos, Bernard Santos, Kyle Manuel, Honofre Tangi, Therence Tangi, Shawna Schneider, Jee Lee, Andy Kim, Alex Kim, Leiandra Pangelinan, Leia Pangelinan, Abigail DeWitt, Matthew Manuel, Claire P. Borja, Ocean Kundu, Deko Cabrera, Devin Cabrera, Denica Cabrera, Bernadette Jacinto, and Angel Joy Jacinto.<\/p>\n<p>The AmeriCorps volunteers were Alaiza Be Basto, Rachel Borja, Rachel Ramirez, Chelsea Yangirelfil, Marielle Kapileo, and Joseph Kileleman. <\/p>\n<p>The Northern Marianas Humanities Council administers the program in partnership with the CNMI Public School System, the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs, and the Joeten Kiyu Public Library.<\/p>\n<p>Schedules for interested private schools and organizations can be arranged by contacting Viola Deleon Guerrero or Beth Demapan at (670) 235-7319 or email at cnmimotheread@gmail.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Motheread\/Fatheread Literacy Program celebrated two special ceremonies at Gregorio T.
