However, it was not after Sufa’s first four batters in the lineup brought in four runs in the first inning, with home runs each made by Audie Maratita and Jude Dickinson.

Maratita went on to belt another home run in the last inning and scored in a total of four RBIs.

The bulk of the runs by Sufa were made in the fifth and last inning, with five, and in the third inning, they brought in three.

Aimeliik’s efforts ended in the second inning as they brought in two runs, and Sufa pitcher Tom Camacho eventually silenced them in the last two innings, with the final score of 13-3.

With the win, Sufa is up 9-4 in the standings, while Aimeliik went deeper down in the trenches at 2-10.

Peleliu 16, Momma Charo 15
Hagu La’mun 13, Ngaraard Redmen 12
There were two close games as Peleliu slipped past Momma Charo, 16-15, and Hagu La’mun followed suit as they narrowly defeated Ngaraard Redmen, 13-12.

In the first game, Peleliu escaped a last-inning rally by Momma Charo as they brought in seven runs to bring them one run shy to tie the game and two runs shy for the win. But Peleliu’s fourth-inning, 10-run rally was enough to put them off and escape with the win.

Peleliu’s Jun Lizama scored the only home run for the team, while Momma Charo’s batters belted two, which was sadly not enough for the W.

Separately, Hagu La’mun narrowly escaped the Redmen’s onslaught of runs as three of them came from home runs, while Hagu La’mun only made two, but one home run was the tie breaking run for the win.

With this win, Peleliu is at 7-1, while Momma Charo is at 5-8.
