Meanwhile, Matansa’s Anton Megino scored a goal not once or twice, but four times, completing the hat-trick and then some for the final score of 5-0 as Shirley’s went goalless.

The win brought Matansa’s to 1-2, while Shirley’s remained winless in three games.

Kanoa FC 4,
MPU FC Pink 2
Kanoa Football Club continued their winning streak with their victory over MPU Football Club Pink, 4-2. Kanoa is currently undefeated with three wins and MPU Pink is at one win and two losses.

It was a quiet first half as both teams were evenly matched, with neither able to get close to the net. The first goal did not register until the 28th minute by MPU Pink’s Theo Joab. That goal woke Kanoa up as they retaliated quickly to tie it up in the 32nd minute, with a goal made by Gil Rooney. Kanoa took the lead right away as Rooney scored a goal again just three minutes later for a 2-1 game.

Maximus Taitano from Kanoa then extended the lead by torching through the defenses for a 3-1 game. MPU watched the game slowly slip away, but Joab scored one more goal to bring them up closer, 3-2. However, it was all over as Taitano stole the win as he scored the fourth and final goal right after, for the final score of 4-2.

MPU Blue FC 1, TanHoldings 1
In the third U13 match up of the day, the game ended in a 1-1 draw between MPU Blue Football Club and TanHoldings Football Club.

Stephen Seo scored the lone goal for the Blue team in the 21st minute of the first half with no follow up, and TanHoldings scored their only goal toward the end of the game made by Emerson Brillo.

Results from Week 4 of the TakeCare Youth Soccer League Fall 2022 U13 girls competitive division will be posted in the next editions of Saipan Tribune.

Matansa Football Club U13 boys redeemed themselves in their Week 4 match against Shirley’s FC…

[5
21107,232
post-378136","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sports","tag-matansa-u13","tag-soccer
["GET
