{"id":378322,"date":"2022-10-25T06:06:18","date_gmt":"2022-10-24T20:06:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=378322"},"modified":"2022-10-25T06:06:18","modified_gmt":"2022-10-24T20:06:18","slug":"gca-eagles-continue-to-soar-at-1st-post-covid-forensic-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/gca-eagles-continue-to-soar-at-1st-post-covid-forensic-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"GCA Eagles continue to soar at 1st  post-COVID forensic competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The administration, faculty, and parents of Grace Christian Academy would like to congratulate their students who participated during the first face-to-face post-COVID Primary Grade Forensic Competition that was held on Saturday, Oct. 16, at Mount Carmel School. <\/p>\n<p>Despite the rain, over 200 young competitors from different schools on the island joined the forensic competition. <\/p>\n<p>GCA\u2019s PGFC coordinator, Ruth Lopez, said that GCA students were excited and eager to participate on this year\u2019s event after a two-year hiatus and virtual competition last year.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so proud of our Eagles!\u201d she said. Out of the 15 events that the GCA students participated, nine events received a place.<\/p>\n<p>The winners of the K2 division are as follows: Dramatic Interpretation, Elaina Atalig, 5th place; Readers Forum (F) Solen Camacho, 1st place; Readers\u2019 Forum (Master A), Caleb Shin, 5th place, and Humorous Interpretation, Caleb Shin, 3rd place.<\/p>\n<p>The winners of the 3rd-5th Division are as follows: Dramatic Interpretation, Chloe Hayul Shin, 4th place; Reader\u2019s Forum (Masters A) Chloe Hayul Shin -2nd place; Humorous Interpretation, Gabrielle Ann Arriola -1st place; Reader\u2019s Forum (F) Gabrielle Ann Arriola ,1st place and Declamation (A), En Mei Huang, 4th place.
