(Mark Rabago)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A new shop selling fashion jewelry has opened in Garapan with owner Sun Qi opting to meet the trendy needs of teenagers.<\/p>\n<p>Oops Boutique is located on the second floor of Tun Kiku\u2019s Building next to Beauty Facial and just above Herman\u2019s Bakery along Middle Road.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reason we opened this shop is because people are so focused on what adults need but sometimes forget how the younger ones who don\u2019t have that much money can afford fine accessories,\u201d said Qi.<\/p>\n<p>Qi said that most of their merchandise are imported from Korea and they opted to call it Oops Boutique, \u201cbecause we want the customers who are wearing our accessories to impress people the first time they see them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since opening last Oct. 1, Oops Boutique\u2019s most popular items are its unique earrings and one-of-a-kind bracelets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost of our products are sterling silver and some are gold-plated. (Mark Rabago)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Asked what it\u2019s like to open a business during the COVID-19 pandemic, she said one thing\u2019s for sure it\u2019s quite challenging.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, overall. It is really tough to open a business during the pandemic. And also as you know, everything in increasing includes utilities, rent, and gas. But we still decided to open it anyway because we feel that young people need to have some options to shop for,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>While Oops Boutique currently has no promotions during its first month of operations, Qi assured everyone that they will be offering discounts in the upcoming holidays.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor now we don\u2019t have any promos going on. But we will have promotions on the upcoming holidays, Halloween, and Christmas. And the best part is that we have the merchandise just for the holidays.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Oops Boutique is open everyday from 10am to 7pm.
