As of Wednesday last week, Imperial Pacific International (CNMI) LLC has paid all outstanding payroll to their active employees, according to Commonwealth Casino Commission executive director Andrew Yeom.<\/p>\n

He informed the CCC board during their monthly meeting Thursday that, according to IPI\u2019s human resources senior adviser Redie Dela Cruz, IPI is now up to date with payroll payouts.<\/p>\n

This, however, does not include all employees who were separated or terminated without being paid in full, he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is another serious matter that IPI must resolve,\u201d said Yeom as he assured that CCC will be keeping its eyes on this matter until it is completely resolved.<\/p>\n

In response to Saipan Tribune\u2019s question, Dela Cruz disclosed that, as of yesterday, IPI has 15 active employees.<\/p>\n

On the issue of IPI having obsolete titles on its list of employees, Yeom said there is no chief executive officer at this time, but Billy Lam is the \u201cexecutive assistant to the CEO,\u201d while Steven Liang is the \u201cassistant to CEO.\u201d He said Lam and Liang were hired during the tenure of then-IPI CEO Ray Yumul.<\/p>\n

Yeom said that Lam and Liang were tasked to assist Yumul with all general matters routed to their executive office for reporting to the IPI board.<\/p>\n

Specifically, Lam handled all government and investor relations coordination, while Liang coordinated all legal matters for Yumul\u2019s review.<\/p>\n

Lam and Liang continue to serve in this capacity, Yeom said, performing the same duties since they were hired.<\/p>\n
