(LEIGH GASES)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ngaraard Redmen smacked the Salty Boys into oblivion in their 26-11 game last Sunday in the continuation of the 2022 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association League at the DanDan Softball Field.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Boys, who have yet to notch a win this season, started off the game with four runs as they tried to clinch at least one W. However, the Redmen had the upper hand as just two innings in, they already scored 10 runs.<\/p>\n<p>The Boys\u2019 pitcher could not handle the outbreak of hits and his batters could not catch up either once the floodgates burst wide open in the fourth inning when the Redmen brought in seven runs.<\/p>\n<p>Ton Pangelinan scored the Redmen\u2019s lone homerun and brought in three RBIs. Teammate Mike Tomokane brought in a whopping seven RBIs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the end, despite the Boys\u2019 efforts, they tasted defeat once again through the 10-run mercy rule as they were handed their 15th loss in as many games. The Redmen\u2019s record is now 8-6.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>Hagu La\u2019mun 21, Momma Charo 8<\/strong><br \/>\nHagu La\u2019mun defeated Momma Charo, 21-8 in another mercy-ruled game.<\/p>\n<p>Hagu La\u2019mun wasted no time as they made the first inning a 15-run inning. Meanwhile, Momma Charo only had seven runs by the end of the second inning.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Celis led the La\u2019mun with his two home runs that brought in four RBIs.<\/p>\n<p>It was all she wrote as the game ended when Momma Charo could only put up one more run against La\u2019mun\u2019s six more.<\/p>\n<p>Hagu Lamun improved to 10-5, while Momma Charo dropped to 6-9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Asahi 13, Peleliu 4<\/strong><br \/>\nAsahi spun Peleliu around as they beat them, 13-4.<\/p>\n<p>Asahi pitcher Dominic Hideo\u2019s lucky number was four that day as he dominated and shut down Peleliu with four scoreless innings and only had four runs against him.<\/p>\n<p>Hideo\u2019s offense provided the winning ammunition as they brought in five runs in the second inning, six runs in the fifth inning, and one run each in two innings.<\/p>\n<p>With this win, Asahi is now at 8-7 and Peleliu is at .500 at 7-7.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>Sufa 9, Tokahao 6<\/strong><br \/>\nTokahao and Sufa broke their tie in the standings when the former defeated the latter, 9-6.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was a tough battle against the pitcher\u2019s mound as both offenses couldn\u2019t catch a break with two scoreless innings from Sufa and four for Tokahao.<\/p>\n<p>However, Sufa found a chip in Tokahao\u2019s pitching during the third inning to score six runs. Sufa managed to score three more and secure the win.<\/p>\n<p>Sufa remained atop the standings at 11-4, while Tokahao remained at 10 wins while getting marked with its fifth loss.<\/p>\n<p>Man Amigos 11, Aimeliik 4<\/p>\n<p>Aimeliik almost could not hit against Man Amigos as they went scoreless in five innings.
