The 25-year-old Brabu Pharmacy staff came away with the men\u2019s physique overall championship and the classic physique overall championship.(LEIGH GASES)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Javin Okawa successfully defended his men\u2019s physique overall championship title and added the classic physique overall championship in last Saturday\u2019s 2022 Dee Clayton Classic at the Saipan World Resort.<\/p>\n<p>The 25-year-old Brabu Pharmacy staff bested eight competitors in the men\u2019s physique, after being judged by Jonas Barcinas, Dan Chase, Jerome Diyco, Joshua Cantara, and Runnel Balecha, and also topped the overall category and claimed first place in the short category against two other competitors.<\/p>\n<p>In the classic physique category, which he debuted in 2019, he placed first against three contestants and also claimed the overall category against six competitors.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_379114\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-379114\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Dee-Clayton-pix-2wb.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Dee-Clayton-pix-2wb.jpg\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-379114\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The classic physique category competitors, from left, Jolo Berueco, Ferdinand Jun Lagmay, Daniel Matsunaga, Javin Okawa, Jovic Tuquero, and Ralph Adrian Villas pose for the judges during last Saturday\u2019s 2022 Dee Clayton Classic at the Saipan World Resort. (LEIGH GASES)<br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<p>The six-year bodybuilding veteran said on his two overall wins that he was \u201csurprised and grateful. I didn\u2019t expect that we could win two overall\u2026 I was actually surprised that I was able to take both.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With this competition as a pre-judging and prelude for the 2023 Pacific Games in Honoria, Solomon Islands, he said \u201cI\u2019m excited that I made it to qualify and be able to represent us next year in Solomon, so I\u2019m relieved that the training and suffering I went through finally paid off.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is something I enjoy doing. It\u2019s like a stress reliever.
