Ralph DLG Torres\u2019 water account despite a legislative investigation showing that no malfeasance happened.<\/p>\n<p>The statement, issued Friday, urges the public to refrain from disseminating false information about the issue.<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement: \u201cWe have received information that members of the public continue to be misinformed about Gov. Torres\u2019 [Commonwealth Utilities Corp.] Account No. 82273. CUC had conducted its due diligence and made its determination. The investigation revealed that there has been no theft and all water consumptions were reconciled, billed, and settled accordingly. These facts were stated at the legislative hearings.
