Cruz received 270 votes from early voting and 363 votes from on-island voting, for a total of 633; while Thomasa Rita P. Mendiola received 165 from early voting and 87 votes from on-island voting, for a total of 252, according to sources on Tinian who got the preliminary unofficial counts.
