Igitol<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Commonwealth Election Commission executive director Kayla S. Igitol has explained why the CEC website initially contained some incorrect numbers of the general election\u2019s then-unofficial tabulation results on Wednesday early morning.<\/p>\n<p>When asked by reporters about the error, Igitol said Friday that she sent their third-party webmaster their summary of tabulations results that she had read when she really should have sent the breakdown by precincts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were trying to find out what was going on. So I asked him [webmaster] to take it down. We looked at the numbers and I gave him the breakdown from election day, early voting, and absentee by precincts and that\u2019s when we found the issue there. Everything\u2019s good now,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>CEC\u2019s website just removed the \u201cincorrect numbers\u201d without explaining what had transpired.
