Marianas Health is hosting a free Hafa Miles 5K Run\/Walk tomorrow, Nov. 26, at 6am.<\/p>\n
Registration starts at 5am at the Garapan Basketball Court and the run\/walk will start from there, down to the Japanese Tank Memorial along Quartermaster Road in Beach Road then back.<\/p>\n
It is an event for all ages to celebrate National Diabetes Prevention and Awareness Month.<\/p>\n
\u201cShow your support to helping the prevention of Diabetes by participating in the physical activities of this free event. Let\u2019s walk, run together as a family, CNMI!\u201d said Marianas Health.<\/p>\n
National Diabetes Prevention and Awareness Month is celebrated every November and is a time when communities across the country team up to bring attention to diabetes, with Nov. 14 as World Diabetes Day. Diabetes is a disease that occurs when your blood glucose, also called blood sugar, is too high.<\/p>\n
