(MARK RABAGO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Oleai and Finasisu split their head-to-head matchup in the boys 13 division of the 2022 Marianas Village Pride Basketball League last weekend at the Gillette Multi-Purpose Gymnasium in Gualo Rai.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Oleai routed Finasisu, 58-45, as Raffy Cai exploded for 26 points to lead the team. Jairus Pangelinan\u2019s 16 points paced Finasisu in defeat.<\/p>\n<p>Finasisu, however, got back at Oleai after a good night\u2019s sleep and vanquished their erstwhile conqueror, 50-40, last Sunday in the strength of Pangelinan\u2019s 20 points. Oleai, which played minus Cai, was led by the 16 markers of Theo Joab.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With both teams splitting their weekend matchups, Oleai and Finasisu are now at 2-3.<\/p>\n<p>The first game of Saturday\u2019s tripleheader saw Tanapag improve to 4-1 in the boys 13 after beating winless Garapan, 52-27.<\/p>\n<p>The last game then saw San Vicente edge Garapan, 37-32, in the women\u2019s division. The former improved to 3-1 while dropping the latter to a 3-2 slate.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday\u2019s other two games had Kagman deal Dandan its first loss in the women\u2019s division following a 37-35 escape act.
