{"id":383217,"date":"2023-01-12T06:06:49","date_gmt":"2023-01-11T20:06:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=383217"},"modified":"2023-01-12T06:06:49","modified_gmt":"2023-01-11T20:06:49","slug":"mcs-invites-community-to-night-with-the-knights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/mcs-invites-community-to-night-with-the-knights\/","title":{"rendered":"MCS invites community to \u2018Night with the Knights\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a two-year hiatus, Mount Carmel School is excited to invite AlumKnights and community members to the school\u2019s annual fundraising banquet, \u201cNight with the Knights.\u201d The event is dedicated to celebrating 70 years of the school\u2019s commitment to faith, service, tradition, and excellence.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cNight with the Knights\u201d is scheduled for Feb. 4, 2023, at the Saipan World Resort Taga Ballroom, from 6pm to 10pm. Tickets are $70 per person.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re very excited about the event and we look forward to all our fellow AlumKnights having a great time. We take great pride in our island\u2019s only Catholic school and are willing to give back to a school that gave us so much,\u201d said 1990 AlumKnight and MCS business manager John Blanco.<\/p>\n<p>According to Blanco, this year\u2019s \u201cNight with the Knights\u201d will include many activities such as a runway show, a school yearbook montage, raffle prizes, music, dancing, and more.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter two super typhoons and a pandemic, it is time to celebrate the resilience of our beloved institution,\u201d said Mount Carmel School president Frances Taimanao. \u201cMount Carmel School has been a home to so many and it\u2019s the memories and journey we aim to celebrate at our gala.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event will also include the announcement of the 2023 AlumKnight of the Year, the 2023 Class of the Year, and other awards. These presentations recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of Mount Carmel School graduates. Criteria for both awards are available on the MCS website, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mountcarmelsaipan.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.mountcarmelsaipan.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for \u201cNight with the Knights\u201d are $70 per person.
