This year\u2019s event is special as it is dedicated to also celebrating 70 years of the school\u2019s commitment to faith, service, tradition, and excellence.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cNight with the Knights\u201d is the AlumKnight Association\u2019s annual event aimed to help raise funds for Mount Carmel School. Additionally, the \u201cNight with the Knights\u201d is part of Mount Carmel School\u2019s Catholic Schools Week celebration dedicated to \u201cCelebrating Our Alumni.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since 1998, Mount Carmel School has granted special awards to individuals and AlumKnights who have distinguished themselves as leaders in business, government, and the community and who represent the school\u2019s trademark values of faith, excellence, and success. The 2022 AlumKnight of the Year will be recognized, along with the AlumKnight Class of the Year, Parent of the Year, Legacy Teacher of the Year, and the Millennial Falcon of the Year at the annual \u201cNight with the Knights\u201d fundraising banquet. This event is also the final event of the school\u2019s Catholic Schools Week celebration.<\/p>\n<p>All members of the community are invited to submit nominations for the awards mentioned. The school\u2019s selection panel will review nominations and select the awardees. The deadline for nominations is Friday, Jan. 20, 2023. Nomination guidelines are available at https:\/\/www.mountcarmelsaipan.com\/a-night-with-the-knights. Nomination submissions can be submitted at the Mount Carmel School business office or emailed to businessmanager@mcsknights.com.<\/p>\n<p>School president Frances T. Taimanao said the \u201cNight with the Knights\u201d is a special occasion where the school has the opportunity to gather and recognize the great works of its AlumKnights.<\/p>\n<p>1990 AlumKnight and association member John S. Blanco added, \u201cWhile the event celebrates AlumKnights, we invite all community members to celebrate with us. Individuals who have attended Mount Carmel School, but did not graduate are still Knights. As our saying goes, \u2018Once a Knight, always a Knight.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for \u201cNight with the Knights\u201d are $70 per person.
