(CONTRIBUTED PHOTO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Northern Marianas Technical Institute\u2019s spring 2023 semester is set to begin on Tuesday, Jan. 17.<\/p>\n<p>Seven courses are being offered: Hotel and Restaurant, Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts: Level 1, Carpentry CORE + Level 1, HVAC CORE + Level 1, Electrical CORE + Level 1, and Welding CORE + Level 1.<\/p>\n<p>The Hotel and Restaurant course is an American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute certification, which is recognized globally.<\/p>\n<p>The Welding, Electrical, HVAC, and Carpentry courses are National Center for Construction Education and Research certifications, which are recognized in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>New student orientation is today at 9am at the NMTech campus in Lower Base.<\/p>\n<p>In-house scholarships are available for Construction Courses. Other scholarships such as CNMI Scholarship, SHEFA, and WIOA are accepted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited for our new students to start next week. Our instructors are excited and ready to teach their skills and knowledge to the new students.
