Icy beer and fresh gear were given out during Marianas Pacific Distributors Inc. or MARPAC\u2019s 50th anniversary happy hour and launch party at the Jonny\u2019s Bar & Grill Monday night.<\/p>\n

The first 50 customers were gifted with MARPAC gear such as Bud hats and T-shirts as well as a raffle ticket for a chance to win prizes throughout the night, and were also welcomed with music from The High-Tide Band, promotions on Bud family buckets of 5, and food.<\/p>\n

According to MARPAC sales manager James Lee, this Friday is the start of their 14-week promotion\u2014Budweiser $50,000 giveaway, in which a purchase of a 12-pack of Budweiser, Bud Light, or Michelob Ultra will qualify those to win prizes totaling $50,000, including 50,000 United Miles, $500 worth of gas, shopping sprees, and more.

MARPAC resident manager Guy Pudney, who was at the celebration, said that the past years of business despite the pandemic has been great.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been great but it\u2019s been hard at times as well. But we persevere. We\u2019re able to get through all the trials, the tribulations, and all the challenges, but we remain steadfast. We want to be here for 50 more years. We want to continue serving the CNMI and continue to be a great community partner as well.<\/p>\n

Pudney then thanked the community for their support over the past 50 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
