Above shows some participants of the 2022 race pose for a group photo.(CONTRIBUTED PHOTO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u200b\u200bIn celebration of Women\u2019s Month in the Marianas and Inter<br \/>\nnational Women\u2019s Day 2023, the Northern Marianas Athletics 3rd Annual Women\u2019s 10K Run 2023 is set for tomorrow, March 18, starting at 6am.<\/p>\n<p>The course will run through the Saipan Marathon course with the start and finish line at the Hyatt Regency Saipan parking lot in front of Club Elan.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the 10K run, there is also the new mixed female\/male 5K Fun Run\/Walk, along with a new distance of a women\u2019s only 5K.<\/p>\n<p>NMA general secretary Robin Sapong advises \u201cmotorists\/the general public to be extra cautious while driving and apologies in advance for any inconvenience. We thank the community for their continuous support.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The OneTime chip timing system will be used for this event.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Race bib and shoe tag pick up is today, Friday, from 4:45pm to 6:45pm at the Oleai Sports Complex track and field and on race day at the start\/finish line.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsors, donors, and partners of the event are Marpac Michelob Ultra, Run Saipan, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Department of Public Safety, Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Triple J Inc. Saipan, IT&amp;E, and volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>There are currently 60 registered. If you\u2019d like to join, click the link https:\/\/raceroster.com\/events\/2023\/69846\/nmi-10km-womens-run\/<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Lily Muldoon, medical director of the Division of Public Health at the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp., won gold in both the inaugural and 2nd Annual NMI Women\u2019s 10K Run.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the first year, she crossed the finish line with a time of 43:42 and in the second year, crossed it at 43:49.
