(MARK RABAGO)<br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Pink Petals Beauty Salon is now in full bloom after the recent addition of a new barber at the Garapan beauty parlor.<\/p>\n<p>Francis Yecyec is the newest staff member at Pink Petals Beauty Salon and he comes with three years\u2019 experience as a professional barber at Bruno\u2019s Barbers at SM Southmall in Las Pi\u00f1as in the\u00a0 Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>The 43-year-old was also trained by no less than famed Filipino hairstylist Ricky Reyes in 2005 when he started developing his skills in haircutting.\u00a0<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_389448\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-389448\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Pink-pix-2wb.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Pink-pix-2wb-300x225.jpg\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-389448\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Petals Beauty Salon barber Francis Yecyec, admin officer Jeferson Banciles, owners Reynaldo and Rizally Joson, and beautician Rollie James Tajos. Among them, short-trim haircuts, semi-tapered comb over, burst fade, medium fade, classic burst fade, barber cut comb over, Filipino-style fade, classic fade, high fade, low fade, taper fade, mid fade, scissor fade, and many more.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the occasion, admin officer Jeferson Banciles said they will be having a 50% discount on all haircuts from $12 to now just $6.<\/p>\n<p>The promotion will be for two consecutive weekends on April 15 and 16 and April 22 and 23.\u00a0<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_389449\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-389449\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Pink-pix-3wb.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Pink-pix-3wb-300x225.jpg\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-389449\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Barber Francis Yecyec is raring to show off the latest haircut styles at Pink Petals Beauty Salon. (MARK RABAGO)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re doing this so that we can introduce our new barber, Mr. Yecyec, to this beautiful island for them to experience his variety of styling in terms of haircut expertise and we also serve free hot tea inside the premises,\u201d said Banciles.<\/p>\n<p>Yecyec, who is from Tanusan, Muntinlupa City in the Philippines, will now join beauticians\u00a0 Rollie James Tajos and Rizel Naguiat.<\/p>\n<p>Tajos was the beautician of choice for 2021 Miss Universe Philippines Top 50 Mytimyles Zaragoza, 2022 Miss Teen International Philippines candidate Cariza Nuel Finn Pono, 2022 Hari ng Pilipinas candidate and Bench model Ken DianDian, and 2021 Miss World Philippines candidate Aura Shaznay.<\/p>\n<p>Pink Petals Beauty Salon also recently sponsored one of the candidates of Gandang Pinay 2023 when Tajos did Alianna Sublemente\u2019s hair and makeup.<\/p>\n<p>Naguiat is a part-time beautician and has three years of experience in the cosmetology field in the Philippines before moving to Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>As for how the beauty parlor has been faring since opening last December, Banciles added it\u2019s been a struggle but is happy that they\u2019re able to offer this service to the island community.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince we opened last January even though business is slightly slow, we received a lot of commendations from different individuals or customers who have been totally satisfied with our service and we hope that they will continue patronizing Pink Petals Beauty Salon,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from haircut for both and women and makeup for children and adults for bridal, debut, birthday party, and for many more occasions, Pink Petals Beauty Salon also offers other services like nail spa, nail manicure and pedicure, blow dry, perming setting and permanent perming for small, medium, and long hair, hair treatment, hair rebond, brazilian or botox, hair bleaching, and hair coloring.<\/p>\n<p>Pink Petals Beauty Salon is located beside V-Lynn\u2019s BBQ along Dama de Noche St. in Garapan.
