Sablan Middle School, right, leads the pack during a sprint event in the middle school qualifiers of the NMA\/PSS All School Athletics last Wednesday at the Oleai track and field.(MARK RABAGO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Middle school students took to the track to start off the 14U qualifiers in the NMA\/PSS All Schools Athletics 2022-2023 last Wednesday at the Oleai Sports Complex track and field.<\/p>\n<p>The events they participated in were the 200m, 800m, 3,000m, shot put, and discus.<\/p>\n<p>In the 14U boys 200m, first place was Audiescott Iakopo from Saipan International School with a time of 26.17; second was Shulun He of Agape Christian School at 27.56; and Emerson Brillo from Hopwood Middle School came in third with 27.69 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Aubrey White from SIS led the 14U girls 200m with 31.11; second was Paige Blanco from ChaCha OceanView Middle School at 31.67; and third was Alyssa Mendiola from DanDan Middle School at 31.87 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Miller from Grace Christian Academy topped the 14U boys 800m with a time of 2:18.88; second was Landen Taflinger from DMS with 2:32.61; and third was D\u2019Anthony Aldan from Francisco M.
