(LEIGH GASES)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Peleliu finally snagged another win in the return of the 2023 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association League after the Easter break against Asahi, 2-1 at the DanDan Softball Field last Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Peleliu hopped into the first inning and drew first blood after Asahi had nothing to show for in a 1-to-nothing game, thanks to an RBI single by Elmer Sablan.<\/p>\n<p>Mabel Ngirngemelas pitched an immaculate game, giving up only nine hits and only one run which came in the fourth inning from Allen Teliu\u2019s single.<\/p>\n<p>The Asahi lineup could not produce and was only hitting singles and grounders that led to easy outs. It was indeed a pitcher\u2019s duel because Peleliu would only score one more run in the fourth from Ray Villagomez\u2019s RBI single.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tokahao 18, Wazzup 6<\/strong><br \/>\nTokahao run-ruled Wazzup, 18-6, for a shortened five-inning game.<\/p>\n<p>Wazzup brought in only one run in the first inning off a sacrifice fly by Jun Lizama, then at Tokahao\u2019s at-bat, they brought in seven.<\/p>\n<p>It was back-to-back singles that led to consecutive RBI\u2019s and at the blink of an eye, it was 7-1.<\/p>\n<p>Tokahao\u2019s Jeff Cruz smashed one out of the park in the second for a two-run shot after also a two run inning by Wazzup.<\/p>\n<p>It was lights out for Wazzup when Tokahao went ballistic in the first inning and scored seven in the third; Wazzup could not make contact with the ball as they only scored three more runs and lost in a 12 run deficit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Man Amigos 17, Tuturamz 3<\/strong><br \/>\nIt was another shortened five-inning game as Man Amigos blew Tuturamz out of the water, 17-3.<\/p>\n<p>Eric Palacios from Man Amigos was responsible for seven RBI\u2019s as he homered in each of his at-bats, with a big home run in the fourth for a nine run inning.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Teammate Manny Sablan hit a lead-off home run himself in the second which started off a four run inning.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Tuturamz only mustered up three runs in the first, second, and fourth inning, and by the time the inning was over, Man Amigos had 16 runs.
