We\u2019ll keep everyone posted when we have a new derby date, and we apologize to everyone who was looking forward to being part of this event,\u201d said TTT president Gene Weaver.<\/p>\n<p>TTT is still recruiting fishermen wishing to volunteer their boats, resources, and knowledge to make the TTT Student Mini Derby possible.<\/p>\n<p>Those wishing to learn more about the Mini Derby or are interested in taking students out on the water can call the TTT office at (670) 234-TASI (8274) or can send an email to tasitotable@gmail.com.<\/p>\n<p>Interested boat captains will be paid $25 per student they can safely accommodate on their boat.<\/p>\n<p>The TTT Student Mini Derby is an event held at the end of every school year for TTT\u2019s second-year students. The students are taken out to the water by volunteering boat captains to experience trolling. After the derby, students are treated to a lesson in cleaning and fileting fish by their boat captains and take the fish they caught home.
