(CONTRIBUTED PHOTO)<br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Roderick Zandueta and Eugene Mendez of Marianas Pacific Distributors, Inc., received top honors for their service in 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Zandueta earned Salesperson of the Year, a.k.a. \u201cThe Top Gun\u201d award, which recognizes the sales representative who exceeds sales goals, builds customer relationships, and understands the customer\u2019s business.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRoderick did a tremendous job for us in only his first full year on the job. He\u2019s a true professional who understands the ins and outs of what it takes to be a top-quality salesman,\u201d said Marpac resident manager, Guy Pudney.\u00a0<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_390566\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-390566\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Marpac-pix-2wb.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Marpac-pix-2wb.jpg\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-390566\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Marpac Consumer sales representative Eugene Mendez, left, with Marpac resident manager\u00a0Guy Pudney. (CONTRIBUTED PHOTO)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<p>For his efforts, Zandueta received a cash prize and plaque, his name inscribed on the Salesperson of the Year perpetual trophy and, above all, bragging rights.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Employee of the Year honors were bestowed upon Mendez in recognition for his efforts and contributions in propelling the company\u2019s vision.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEugene is a very dedicated and committed employee. It\u2019s a true asset having him on our team. Hats off to him and our other nominees, Allen Mendiola, Roderick Zandueta, Chantilly Kaipat, Tom Basa, and Heather Popa,\u201d added Pudney.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mendez also collected a cash prize and plaque, a space on the Employee of the Year perpetual trophy, but also a highly coveted reserved parking spot.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Awards were presented at the annual employee New Year\u2019s celebration which took place last Feb. 4 at Micro Beach.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Marpac is a responsible and upstanding family-owned business, built on a foundation of service.
