On Saturday, April 29, 2023, at about 2:33am, DPS 911 received a report of a vehicle crash by the Coffee Shop along Chalan Monsignor Guerrero Road in Kannat Tabla, Saipan.<\/p>\n
At about 2:38am, an officer arrived and met with the 911 caller. At this point, he observed a red Nissan Hardbody pickup truck resting facing southeast in contact with a wooden power pole. The driver and passenger were still in the car, the driver was unresponsive, and the passenger was unconscious but still breathing.<\/p>\n
Medics arrived at the scene and immediately transported the passenger to CHCC. The driver, a 44-year-old male with no pulse and was not breathing, was transported and later pronounced dead at 3:20am by Dr. Elizabeth Culp.<\/p>\n
The crash is under further investigation.
