Mensah is suing Dongfang Trading Corp., which does business as Happy Poker II, after he slipped and fell inside what he claims was a wet and slippery restroom.<\/p>\n<p>Mensah, through attorney Matthew Holley, is asking the Superior Court to grant him relief in the amount of $300,000 for pain and suffering, emotional distress, mental anguish and diminished quality of life.<\/p>\n<p>The plaintiff is also requesting the CNMI Superior Court for a mandatory mediation, and if that is unsuccessful, he wants the court to issue a judgment for compensatory damages, economic and non-economic, for medical care and expenses, and bodily injury in an amount to be proven at trial.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, back on Dec. 10, 2021, the plaintiff slipped and fell after he walked into Happy Poker II\u2019s restroom, which he claims was wet, causing a slippery floor.<\/p>\n<p>The plaintiff said he sustained injuries due to the fall.
