Emon Lodge No. 179 will be organizing a masters basketball league and has called on teams interested in joining the competition to send representatives to a meeting set today, June 20, 7pm at the San Juvi Restaurant.<\/p>\n
The new league is open only to players in the 40-and-above age group and will kick off on June 30 2014 at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.<\/p>\n
Interested teams are allowed to have only 12 players on their roster. Squads must also pay the $500 entrance fee, inclusive of team uniforms. Representatives\/coaches of participating teams are asked to list the complete names of their players and their chosen jersey numbers. Teams should also provide organizers with a photocopy of registration and waiver forms filled up by each player.<\/p>\n
Game schedule and other details of the league will be discussed during today\u2019s meeting.<\/p>\n
Registration forms for interested teams will be distributed on this meeting schedule on a first-come, first-serve basis only. <\/p>\n
