(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>DEDEDO, Guam<\/strong>\u2014Guam Regional Medical City proudly welcomes rheumatologist Dr. Jirapat Teerakanok to Guam.<\/p>\n<p>Teerakanok joins GRMC in a permanent, full-time position, specializing in diagnosis and treatment of various autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout, lupus, osteoporosis, and more. He is currently Guam\u2019s only on-island provider for rheumatology.<\/p>\n<p>Teerakanok is double board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine in the U.S. and Thailand. He is also a certified clinical densitometrist. Prior to his arrival on Guam, Teerakanok last served at the Samitivej Sriracha Hospital in Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>Chief medical officer Dr. Alexander \u201cBeau\u201d Wielaard said, \u201cWe are excited to welcome Dr. Teerakanok on our team at GRMC to serve the people of Guam.
