{"id":397898,"date":"2023-08-18T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-18T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=397898"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T14:00:00","slug":"NMA-containers-burglarized-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/NMA-containers-burglarized-again\/","title":{"rendered":"NMA containers burglarized again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Northern Marianas Athletics\u2019 container was burglarized yesterday, making it the third burglary reported at the Oleai Sports Complex within a year.<\/p>\n<p><em>Saipan Tribune<\/em> learned yesterday that two shovels were stolen from the NMA containers.<\/p>\n<p>Nathan Guerrero, facilities supervisor at the Oleai Sports Complex, said they discovered the burglary yesterday morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe realized our padlocks had been cut again so we went to check NMA\u2019s container and realized those were cut as well,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the burglary, which is the third burglary reported at the sports complex within the last year.<\/p>\n<p>The last burglary was reported back in July when over $1,000 worth of equipment used to maintain the facilities were stolen.
