{"id":398214,"date":"2023-08-22T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-22T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=398214"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T14:00:00","slug":"CNMI-DOL-to-hold-job-fair-on-Sept-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/CNMI-DOL-to-hold-job-fair-on-Sept-15\/","title":{"rendered":"CNMI DOL to hold job fair on Sept. 15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Department of Labor will be hosting a job fair at the Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan\u2019s Hibiscus Hall on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, from 9am to 3pm.<\/p>\n<p>The highly anticipated in-person event will feature various employers from a wide range of industries from construction, manpower services, retail, hospitality services and more.<\/p>\n<p>The department\u2019s theme for this year\u2019s fair, \u201cLet\u2019s Keep the CNMI Working,\u201d is a call to address the imminent \u201ctouchback\u201d policy set to go into effect on Sept. 30, 2023. The \u201ctouchback\u201d rule is surely going to affect the CNMI\u2019s workforce, so the department continually strives to mitigate the impacts of this policy by conducting this job fair. \u201cWe seek to provide the means to bolster the CNMI\u2019s local workforce and economy at such a crucial moment,\u201d said the department in a news release yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Further information about the job fair can be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marianaslabor.net\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.marianaslabor.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The CNMI State Workforce Development Board and the DOL Workforce Investment Agency Division are Equal Opportunity Employers\/providers.
