{"id":399643,"date":"2023-10-11T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-11T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=399643"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T14:00:00","slug":"DPW-tells-IPI-to-take-down-tower-crane","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/DPW-tells-IPI-to-take-down-tower-crane\/","title":{"rendered":"DPW tells IPI to take down tower crane"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Public Works has issued a new notice to Imperial Pacific International (CNMI) LLC to take down its tower crane atop the unfinished casino resort project in Garapan.<\/p>\n<p>In response to <em>Saipan Tribune<\/em>\u2019s inquiry, DPW Secretary Ray N. Yumul disclosed that they issued a notice for the removal of the crane to IPI for safety reasons due to the approaching Typhoon Bolaven and that acting Building Safety officer Yvonne Tenorio signed the notice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo response as far as I know. We did give a short grace period for them to reply,\u201d Yumul said.
