Tenorio Enterprises, Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino, McDonald\u2019s Saipan, and Laolao Bay Golf and Resort have signed up to become major sponsors of tomorrow\u2019s 11th NMC Foundation Open Golf Tournament.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament is part of the foundation\u2019s efforts to help advance postsecondary education in the CNMI and will be held tomorrow, Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the west course of the Laolao Bay Golf and Resort. The event will feature cash and other prizes that have been generously donated by various companies and organizations.<\/p>\n<p>The NMC Foundation is composed of community volunteers committed to elevating higher education opportunities for CNMI students. Proceeds from the tournament and cash donations will directly benefit NMC\u2019s educational programs and services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn behalf of the NMC Foundation, I would like to thank all past supporters for their investment in our community. I call upon the same supporters as well as other members of this great community to contribute to our one and only community college in helping students achieve their goal of obtaining a degree in higher education,\u201d said NMC Foundation president Joe Santos \u201cAll proceeds will go to the NMC Foundation, which is charged with the mission of supporting our great community college.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other sponsors of the tournament include 360 Restaurant, Auntie Mag\u2019s Catering, Booya\u2019s BBQ, CHL Program, Bridge Capital LLC, Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan, Gree Air Conditioning, Hyatt Regency Saipan, Island Apparel, Kanoa Resort, Kautz Glass Co., KKMP Radio, Marianas Pacific Distributors, Marianas Variety, NMC Bookstore, National Office Supply, Pacific Subsea, PIC Saipan, Power 99, Rota Germanium Water, The Athlete\u2019s Foot\/All Star, Tan Siu Lin Foundation, Town House Inc., and Tournament of Champions.<\/p>\n<p>The entrance fee for the tournament is only $95 per player, which can be paid at Saipan Laolao Bay Golf and Resort. Registration for the tournament can also be paid at Triple J Motors or the NMC Cashier\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament will be a top 5 Double Peoria. The first place winner will receive a $300 cash prize, second place receives $200 cash, third place $100 cash, fourth and fifth place will receive a consolation prize.<\/p>\n<p>The NMC Foundation is also asking companies or individuals who can contribute Education Tax Credit, monetary, or in-kind donations to sponsor the tournament.
